| Welcome to the Neale and Garesché genealogy website. As you will see, this is a work in progress. I hope most of all that you enjoy exploring this resource, and, if you have additional information or find errors, that you would contact me (click Contact on any page). I would especially appreciate pictures and anecdotes. Start with the Home Card link. There you can click on the names of people earlier or later in the family tree. On any particular page you can click on a name to learn more about that person. You can also click on a picture (or the little camera icon) to enlarge it or display more pictures. A camera icon next to a wedding date will show one or more pictures related to that couple or their family. This site will probably never encompass the entire Garesché genealogy. My primary interest has been to trace the direct ancestry of my immediate family and my Garesché cousins. I have heard from other Gareschés from time to time and added the information they gave to me. I owe a great debt to the work of Dorthy Garesché Holland, whose 1963 book, The Garesché, de Bauduy and des Chapelles Families: A Genealogy, contains much more detail, correspondence and anecdotal infomation that can possibly be included here.
